5k For Beginners

You've always wanted to run but don't know where to start. The 5k FOR BEGINNERS program will teach you all you need to know about running in all kinds of weather, biomechanics, nutrition, goal setting, injury prevention, motivation, pacing and much more.

At the end of this clinic you should be able to run at an easy pace for 20 minutes, with a gradual progression of run and walk breaks. You will Lose Weight, Reduce Stress and Get Fit!

In order to prevent injury, it is recommended that you take a training program best suited to your current fitness level. If you are currently able to walk at a comfortable pace for 10 to 15 minutes, then you are ready. The pace while running should be your easy running pace  that will allow you  to carry on a conversation.
Mohua Ghose:
Mohua has been in the Fitness Industry for over 10 years and is an active member of the 10k running group. She is certified through CanFitPro and has a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College. She has trained clients of all levels of fitness; from post-rehab to athletes.
Mohua specializes in core conditioning and can customize individual programs to make sure you succeed to the best of your health and fitness. At the end of the day; her goal is making sure you achieve yours.

Program cost is $50 plus tax.

I know that participating in physical fitness events is a potentially hazardous activity. I agree not to participate unless I am medically able and properly prepared.
