Dr. D'Angelo graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor Degree of Science in Kinesiology. His interests in exercise performance and sports medicine led him to continue his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where he graduated with Summa Cum Laude and Clinic Honours.

In pursuit of specializing in sports medicine, Dr. D'Angelo went on to obtain his Sport Sciences Fellowship from the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) through an intensive two-year, full-time, post-graduate residency program at CMCC. Outside of clinical practice, he continues to be active in producing healthcare research, instructing, and acting as a peer reviewer for academic journals.
In addition to his formal chiropractic training, he has obtained certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University and Active Release Techniques (ART)©.
Sports Injury Management and Optimizing Performance

Dr. D'Angelo has worked with amateur, national and professional athletes across a variety of sport settings such hockey, lacrosse, football, soccer, dance, cycling and running. He currently serves on the medical team for the Canadian Taekwondo Team and served on the host medical teams for track cycling and soccer during the recent 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. Dr. D’Angelo uses current evidence-based and individualized plans to help prevent, rehabilitate, and increase performance in athletes under his care.
