Dr. Sunny Jangwal

Chiropractic & Massage in Mississauga

Dr. Sunny Jangwal graduated from York University with an Honours Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology & Health Sciences. He then continued his education and graduated from The Sutherland-Chan school of massage therapy to become a ​​​​​​​​Registered Massage Therapist in 2014. His interests in injury rehab and sport performance led him to further continue his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honours. 
In addition to his formal education, Sunny has completed training in sports massage, soft tissue release, athletic movement assessment, athletic taping, and is currently completing a certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University.

Sports Conditioning Experience

Dr. Jangwal has extensive experience treating orthopaedic injuries in people of all ages, including athletic injuries, strains, sprains, nerve-related conditions, arthritic conditions and post-surgical rehab. In addition to his clinical experiences, Sunny has also worked with athletes in sports settings. His past experiences include working with athletes at the Toronto Triathlon Festival, ScotiaBank Waterfront and Toronto Goodlife Marathon, in the Canadian Soccer League, and with the Toronto Marlies. 
 
Along with his educational training and experience working with athletes, Dr. Jangwal uses his own athletic experiences to relate to his patients. He grew up playing competitive soccer and was challenged with a variety of injuries throughout his playing career. These clinical, educational, and personal experiences allow Dr. Jangwal a better opportunity to understand and connect with his patients.
Dr. Jangwal prioritizes evidence-based care and individualized plans to help rehabilitate and increase performance in his patients. His hands-on approach includes using manual therapy techniques in combination with exercises and patient education.
