James DeSanto

James holds a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto graduating in 2002. He also completed his Athletic Therapy Certificate at York University in 1999. Since graduating, James has taken numerous post-graduate courses including acupuncture and advanced manual and manipulative therapy. James has the ability to narrow in on his clients injuries and put together a client-focused treatment plan based on evidence-based research. He is compassionate and caring and this is clear in his dealings with his clients.

James has extensive experience treating orthopedic injuries in people of all ages. He has treated many athletes of all levels from the beginner to the professional (including NHL, CFL and MLL). He has been on the host medical staff for the Ontario Summer Games, Ontario Winter Games, World Transplant Games, Ontario Paralympic Games, World Paralympic Track and Field Championships, and the Canadian Junior National Figure Skating Championships.

James spends his spare time being the head coach of both his kids’ rep hockey teams – living his non-working hours in a rink!
