Manual Therapy
Lauren graduated with honors from Sheridan College in 2009, and has been practicing as a Certified Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist with varsity, nationally competitive athletes, and the general public on field as a medical first responder, and in clinic as a rehabilitation specialist.
Lauren’s educational pursuit and her beliefs in manual practice as a powerful integrative source for healing and balancing the entire person has led her to enrich her studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy where she completed 5years of courses and a 2year osteopathic thesis. She currently practises as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and uses a variety of manual techniques to align the body, anatomically and physiologically, for optimal healing: myofascial release, cranio-sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, soft tissue manipulation, and osteopathic articular techniques.
Sports Conditioning & Injury Rehabilitation
Her pursuit for excellence in her own athletic endeavors of basketball, track, cross-country, and sprint triathlon led her in the direction of helping athletes of all levels and abilities achieve their goals in fitness and rehabilitation by adapting exercise prescription and periodized programming to compliment every athlete that does personal training with her.
