Ryan Coomber

Ryan graduated from McMaster University with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to this, he completed an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. He is also a member of Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Ryan has taken post graduate courses to further his knowledge in the field of physiotherapy. These courses are related to sport injuries and management, advanced manual therapy, and K-Taping.
With an interest in sports medicine, Ryan decided to undertake his Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship. He is currently working toward his Sport Physiotherapist designation at McMaster University where he provides on-field coverage and treatment for the varsity sports teams. Ryan has previous experience working with professional sports teams including the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2015 and Hockey Canada in 2016.
Ryan enjoys working with clients with a variety of conditions ranging from sport related injuries to chronic pain. His treatment philosophy is focused on evidence-based clinical techniques such as manual therapy, soft tissue release, and exercise prescription.
When he is not in the clinic Ryan spends his free time coaching and playing hockey or going to the gym.
